A server deployment has a clear finish line: your engineers can reach the box over the network and out-of-band, and everything before that is our problem. Unboxing, mounting, power, cabling, first boot, management configuration. What happens after that, the operating system and everything above it, is yours.

From delivery to first boot
We can take delivery of the hardware, inspect it for transit damage, stage it, install it, connect power and network, and bring it up. If something arrives damaged you hear about it with photographs before anything is installed.
Out-of-band management is the handover point
IPMI, BMC or iDRAC configured to the addressing you specify, and confirmed reachable from your side before we consider the job finished. That is the moment the machine becomes yours to manage, and we do not close a deployment until you can reach it.
BIOS and boot settings to your specification
Boot order, virtualisation flags, power profiles and similar settings applied per your written specification during the install, which is far quicker than doing it remotely afterwards through a console.
Documented as installed
Serial numbers, rack positions, power outlets used and network ports patched, recorded and returned to you with photographs, so your asset records are accurate from day one instead of retrospectively.

Server Installation Toronto: common questions
Do you install the operating system?
Our scope ends when the machine boots and out-of-band management is reachable from your side. From there most teams provision remotely using their own tooling. If you need boot media mounted or a specific boot source selected to start that process, we can do that.
Can you install servers we ship directly to the data center?
Yes. We can accept the delivery, inspect it, and stage the hardware for installation, subject to the receiving policy at your facility. Any transit damage is reported with photographs before installation begins.
What if a server fails during installation?
We report it with the console output and photographs, and stop rather than working around it. If you have a spare on site we can install that instead, and we will stage the failed unit for RMA return.
